Support and Comfort for You and Your Family
Hospice is specialized care that is administered during the final days, weeks, or months of an individual's life. Its aim is to bring peace, comfort, and well-being to those facing a life-limiting illness, as well their family and friends. Anyone of any age is eligible for hospice if they have a life expectancy of six months or less. Knute Nelson Hospice offers not only medical care during the end of life, but also a wide range of therapies and life enriching services that can improve the patient's quality of life.
Peace and Closure
Our hospice care in West Central Minnesota helps individuals and their families find peace, comfort, and closure during the final days, weeks, or months of life. In addition, hospice care can help individuals achieve their end-of-life goals. This might include crossing something off their bucket list, visting a park, listening to their favorite music, or anything in between - as long as our care team can manage symptoms and keep the individual comfortable.
Hospice care can be administered in a wide variety of settings. Individuals can receive specialized care wherever they call home. Whether that be a residential home, assisted living facility, or other nursing facility, our hospice staff will come to you.
