Community Drive-Thru Picnic a Success

Thank you to everyone who attended the Knute Nelson Drive-Thru Annual Picnic!  It was such a joy for us to see so many smiling faces and share a delicious picnic lunch with you. We are pleased to share that we served a total of 553 picnic lunches—450 total at the Care Center, 53 at Nelson Gables, and 50 at Grand Arbor.

For the last 13 years, the Knute Nelson Community Picnic has been one of our signature events. Our staff showed great teamwork and adaptability in creating a safe way to host the picnic this year during the COVID-19 pandemic. To be able to smile, wave, and chat with so many of our supporters was a joy. We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made a free-will donation at the picnic. We received many heartwarming donations from our amazing community. Funds raised from this event allow us to enrich the lives of those we serve, while providing innovative care to meet their ever-changing needs.
