The Nelson Wellness Center is an exceptional resource for individuals 45 and older in the Alexandria area, as well as residents of our Grand Arbor and Nelson Gables campuses.
Members of the Nelson Wellness Center have access to two Nelson Wellness Center locations, as well as the Alexandria Area YMCA.

Our programming is designed to ensure each individual can find a class that meets them where they are at physically and can help them reach their unique wellness goals.
Aquatic Center
Our warm water pool is heated to a pleasant 88-89 degrees, making it enjoyable to exercise in as well as the ideal environment for relieving pain and stiffness.
Personal Trainers
The caring staff at our Wellness Center is here to help members increase their strength, and remain healthy and active in a unique environment.
State-of-the-Art Facility
Our facility includes a cardiovascular strength room with equipment designed for older adults, classroom studio with balance bars, and water bikes.
