Jim Eidsvold has been named the 2017 Knute Nelson Renaissance Award Recipient. The award honors an individual whose leadership and support to the Knute Nelson organization has been exceptional in addition to exemplifying the Knute Nelson mission and beliefs.
“Jim’s impact on Knute Nelson has been significant,” reflects Mark Anderson, President/CEO. He continues, “He has been instrumental with his leadership and embracing our vision early on for senior lifestyle housing, which we now know as Grand Arbor. Jim has helped to secure support for our mission and share about our mission and impact with others in the community.”
Jim has been actively involved with Knute Nelson for many years representing Calvary Lutheran Church where he is a member, serving on the Knute Nelson Corporation Board of Directors from 1997-2003, serving as co-chair of the Dimensions Capital Campaign for Grand Arbor, and currently serving on the Foundation Board of Directors since 2012.
“We are so grateful for him finding value in our mission and acting to help us accomplish what we could not do on our own,” shares Katie Perry, Foundation Executive Director/Senior Vice President. “Jim lives the mission of Knute Nelson and demonstrates the true meaning of this award.”
The presentation of the Renaissance Award took place during Knute Nelson’s Annual Donor and Volunteer Recognition event on November 9th.
