2021 State of Knute Nelson
Nov 10, 2021 by Mark Anderson
Transformation is all around us.
There is no doubt that we are working in a period of constant change. Despite these challenges, I remain optimistic for our future at Knute Nelson.
We have seen significant transformation in and demand for our services and how we care for aging adults, especially during this pandemic. We have seen the tremendous dedication and commitment from our 800+ staff who rise above and beyond to keep the health and safety of our residents, clients and all whom we serve as our first priority and live out our mission of “enriching lives.” I am grateful to all who embrace our mission and are eager to serve and live out our purpose.
Our vision is “to provide innovative solutions that empower individuals to thrive.” This vision helps propel us to be responsive to the needs of the communities where we serve. We strive to keep a steady pulse on programs and services that can enhance a client or residents’ life in meaningful ways – from wellness and home care to short-term rehabilitation and hospice. We continue to evolve the many ways we are responding to—and leading—the paradigm of health care transformation throughout our 38 Counties of service in West Central Minnesota and North Dakota. It is a privilege to serve people where they choose to receive services.
Knute Nelson is a nonprofit – and leadership is expected from mission-driven organizations. I believe that we will continue to lead and/or find ways to collaborate as our society ages and more individuals will need our services. Doing so allows us the opportunity to advocate for others and foster genuine relationships that may need assistance.
The Knute Nelson Board of Directors has guided us in exemplary ways as we carry out our strategic focus and steward our mission. We also recognize the many generous donors and volunteers who truly embrace philanthropy, which is the desire to benefit humanity. As a nonprofit, we rely on this support. We are humbled by your support and are deeply grateful.
Transformation is here. And we at Knute Nelson, are humbled by your belief in us, and with this belief, we know that anything is possible.
Thank you for your support this year.
