Free Hospice Educational Session

By deciding what end-of-life care best suits your needs when you are healthy, you can help those close to you make the right choices when the time comes. This not only respects your values, but also may give your loved ones comfort.

A free educational seminar, “Advance Care Planning & the Hospice Philosophy” will discuss how to communicate your wishes for end-of-life so that decisions made are based on your personal values and preferences. The community is invited to attend the seminar, which begins at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 19. Vivian Heltemes, RN, with Knute Nelson Hospice, will explore this topic in depth. This free seminar is held at Stevens Community Medical Center, 400 East First Street, Morris.

This is the second seminar in an ongoing series hosted by Knute Nelson Hospice and Stevens Community Medical Center. Upcoming seminar topics include:
