Knute Nelson Announces Addition of Hospice to Baxter Community

Knute Nelson is expanding their presence by adding hospice services to the Baxter area.

Knute Nelson has had a local presence in Baxter for over two years, serving area residents with quality home care services.

Knute Nelson Hospice strives to make every day matter, make every day comfortable, and make every day as joyful as possible for our patients who are living with a terminal or life limiting illness. Their primary focus is on managing the patient’s pain and troubling symptoms, while providing the emotional and spiritual support needed to help patients live their life comfortably.

Hospice focuses on caring, not curing. In most cases, care is provided in the patient’s home but may also be provided in freestanding hospice facilities, hospitals, and nursing homes and other long-term care facilitiesCare can be provided to a patient, wherever it is they call home. Hospice services are available to patients with any terminal illness or of any age, religion, or race.
