Knute Nelson Foundation Receives Grant
Jan 10, 2019 by Danielle Andersen
Knute Nelson Foundation has received a $4,630 grant from Lake Region Art Council (LRAC). The purpose of the grant is to provide an opportunity to engage Knute Nelson residents and Alexandria school children through a canvas painting workshop.
The workshops will be followed by public art exhibits featuring the painted canvases and live musical entertainment. The art exhibits will take place in the spring of 2019. More information will become available in the months to come as the public will be invited to attend.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
