Senior Day at the Douglas County Fair
Wednesday, August 16th | Douglas County Fairgrounds | Alexandria
Knute Nelson will again be a sponsor for Senior Day at the Douglas County Fair on Wednesday, August 16th. Individuals ages 65+ will receive a reduced gate admission price of only $7. Stop by our booth located next to the Heritage Stage to register for door prizes and check out the activities we have planned. For a full fair schedule please visit dcmnfair.com.
Community Picnic

Please join us for the Knute Nelson Annual Community Picnic at one of the locations above! There is no cost to attend; however, free-will donations are welcomed and appreciated. We are excited to see you at this year’s picnic! View more details.
Memorial Dove Release
Please join us for refreshments and fellowship as we honor the lives of our Knute Nelson Hospice patients who have passed away between June 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. There will be a short program that will consist of songs, prayers, and recognition of your loved one, followed by the releasing of 50 white doves that will bring messages to your loved ones in Heaven!
Join us at any of the following locations. Your loved one can be recognized at any or all events. Please bring a photo of your loved one to be displayed. Community members are welcome to attend!

17th Annual Golf Classic

We invite you to participate in the 17th Annual Knute Nelson Golf Classic. We have greatly enjoyed networking and golfing with you, while raising funds to support Knute Nelson’s mission of enriching the lives of everyone we serve. We hope that you will join us this year for an afternoon of fun and fundraising. A significant portion of your sponsorship will be a donation to the Knute Nelson Foundation. This year, your gift will support the Short-Term Rehab Courtyard Garden renovation project and enriching resident activities.
