The Life-Changing Benefits of Our Senior Living Communities
Is a senior living community right for you?
In our golden years, maintaining a sense of community is often difficult. From the burden of household maintenance to the void of losing a loved one, staying at home can begin to feel unmanageable. Whether you’re struggling to live alone or are proactively looking toward future care needs, our senior living communities at Knute Nelson cover a full continuum of senior housing options.
Supporting families and loved ones
Having supported residents from all walks of life, we understand the importance of family in your decision. That’s why we offer peace of mind through the compassion of our staff. Confidence in the quality of our care. And connection by creating an environment that loved ones enjoy visiting.
In the words of Carol Dittberner, one of our cherished senior living residents, “we have a wonderful staff here. They’re so helpful and kind. The residents are great too, and I've made lots of friends. We have little get-togethers and just do fun things together.”
Preserving your independence
If you ask our senior living residents, life without shoveling, lawn care, or maintenance means more time doing what you love. Whether you’re looking to downsize, live a social lifestyle, or get rid of the hassles of home maintenance, moving to a senior living apartment can bring out the best in each day.
We offer an abundant selection of amenities and conveniences. Including wellness programming, restaurant-style dining, regular social events, and much more. These opportunities empower our residents to live with greater fulfillment.
Peace of mind is apparent through a consistent care experience where a higher level of care is right around the corner. In the words of Carol, “After volunteering in memory care and assisted living, I've found that things can change. Perhaps someday I will be in one of those places, but it doesn't frighten me because I know I will be taken care of.”
Nurturing a continuum of care
Senior living at Knute Nelson means the next level of care is always within easy reach. This added level of assurance brings comfort to families and continuity to residents. For example, assisted living communities offer support for medication management, meal preparation, dressing, and more.
Additionally, enhanced assisted living residents have access to around-the-clock care, disease management, and other personalized services. As your needs evolve, we also offer short-term rehab to restore your independence. As well as memory care for specialized social and mental stimulation.
For 24-hour skilled nursing support, our long-term care options are supported by a variety of activities. Including games, puzzles, excursions, and even intergenerational programming with children from the on-site YMCA childcare center.
