New management relationship: Heritage Living Center
Knute Nelson will begin a new management relationship with Heritage Living Center effective Tuesday, August 1st. They will support Heritage through a variety of operational, financial and support roles.
“Heritage has a longstanding commitment to caring for Park Rapids area older adults with a full family of senior living options,” says Mark Anderson, President and CEO of Knute Nelson. “Their passion for aging services, non-profit values, and portfolio of service offerings makes them a perfect match to work with the team at Knute Nelson. The Park Rapids community is special to both our organizations and by partnering, we can ensure aging community members have access to a full spectrum of aging services close to home, with quality they can depend on.”
Serving the Park Rapids community
Knute Nelson has served Park Rapids since 2012, beginning with home health care services. In 2018, they opened Crystal Brook Senior Living at 1006 Crocus Hill Street E, Park Rapids, where they have 88 apartments, offering senior living, assisted living and memory care.
Heritage Living Center has been operating for nearly 70 years and serves the community through their Heritage Living Center, Heritage Manor and Heritage Cottages campuses. They provide an array of services, including assisted living, memory care, short-term rehab and long-term care. They are a locally owned and operated organization and will continue to be governed by their board of directors.
“The board is committed to ensuring staff and residents of Heritage continue to receive the support they need, and we believe a partnership with Knute Nelson is the best way to accomplish this,” says Char Christenson, Heritage Living Center Board Chair. “Knute Nelson’s experience in aging services gives them valuable insight into the everchanging landscape of this industry and ensures everyone receives the quality of care and support they need and depend on at Heritage.”
