Roske Receives Caregiver of the Year Award

Congratulations to Kayla Roske, District C Caregiver of the Year. Kayla was honored by LeadingAge Minnesota for her dedication to those she serves at the Nelson Wellness Center.
The Caregiver of the Year Award honors individuals in older adult services who demonstrate exceptional commitment to older adults, and enhance and enrich the quality of life of those in their care. Code was selected for the award out of a field of 50,000 professional caregivers throughout the state.
Kayla has taken personal initiative to provide the Parkinson's community in the Alexandria area with the best possible care and support. Kayla is a co-facilitator for a Parkinson's support group, a site champion at Knute Nelson for the Struthers Parkinson's Center Care Network, and has led and grown the NeuroFit program, a program designed for individuals with neurological movement disorders, at the Nelson Wellness Center. These are only a few examples of Kayla's dedication!
Kayla Roske is highly deserving of this recognition for her efforts in her daily work, her consistent advocacy and dedication to the Parkinson’s community, and her outstanding ability to serve as a resource to her local community.
